ABOUT

MuDe
The permanent collection includes 1200 pieces donated by Portuguese businessman Francisco Capelo, including a famous Jean Dessès gown that Renee Zellweger wore at the 2001 Oscars and Christian Dior's landmark 1947 New Look. The fashion collection consists of creations by some 230 designers including Charles & Ray Eames, Le Corbusier, Tom Dixon, Philippe Starck, Yves Saint Laurent, Jean-Paul Gaultier, Christian Dior, Chanel, Vivienne Westwood, Versace, and also Tommy Hilfiger, who offered one of his pieces. There are also over 200 pieces of product design objects such as; furnishings, glassware, iconic scooters and jewellery dating back from 1937 to the present day.

The basement and second-floor host temporary exhibitions, while the ground floor showcases the main collection. There's also spaces for conferences, courses, workshops and international meetings.
